It’s in a chat somewhereJust
Yankit finds the agent conversations behind your recent open pull requests. Review the conversation, then bring the context back to GitHub.
No PRs or conversations go to a Yankit server. How your data is handled
From chat to pull request
Yankit is free. You’ll need Codex with access to your GitHub account and the agent histories on your computer.
Ask Codex
Copy the prompt, paste it into Codex, and send it. Codex opens Yankit and starts finding your PRs and conversations.
Copying the prompt alone does not access your data.
Find the conversation
Codex lists open PRs you created and looks for related conversations. Both must have activity in the last 30 days.
Matches use a recorded PR mention, or the same repository with a matching commit or branch. PRs without a match still appear.
Histories from Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, and Factory Droid.
Yank it
The latest matching conversation opens automatically. Review it, choose “Yank it”, and paste the Markdown into a GitHub comment.
To load another conversation, select it and send its prompt to Codex.
What happens to your data
- Codex
- Uses the access you give it.
It reads GitHub and agent histories on your computer, then sends the results to this page through WebMCP. Its model provider may process that data.
- Your browser
- Holds the results in page memory.
PRs and conversations are not uploaded to a Yankit server. Previews are rendered here with unsafe content removed. Remote images and embeds are blocked. This page runs no analytics.
- GitHub
- You choose what to share.
“Yank it” copies Markdown to your clipboard. You choose where to paste it. Yankit never posts to GitHub. Links open only when you follow them.
Clearing your workspace
Use “Clear Yankit data” at the top of the workspace to empty it and other Yankit tabs on this site, and cancel pending requests. Reloading empties just this tab. Original histories, clipboard copies, and data already received by Codex stay in place.
What the WebMCP panel records
The panel lists tool names, descriptions, call counts, and outcomes for this tab. It does not record or display inputs, results, credentials, or conversation content. Counts reset when this page session ends.
